When it came to designing a simple hoodie, looked back to historical archives to find their inspiration. The Arne Hoodie draws from sweaters of the 1930s – their heavyweight, diagonally woven loopback fleece jersey remains the gold standard.
As is often the case, small touches make a massive difference. Whilst the fabric was sorted, it was a mission to find the perfect shape and details in-order to realise the vision. The cut is slightly relaxed, with set-in sleeves and extra-thick ribbing for a vintage look. The hood is double-layered, with a drawstring for cinching, whilst the body sports a kangaroo pocket because, frankly, a hoodie without one is kinda weird.
